Brush cleaning is their primary job but I will sell baby goats and I will milk them and make cheese to. The girlfriend/partner would not allow me to get any animal and sell it for meat so I picked this type of goat bc they are small and everyone here seems to keep them as pets. I bought them from a lady a couple houses away on my street.
Check out Trailer Park Boys latest season, one of them has a goat as his pet, so I knew it could be done!
So I am outside and I am thinking to myself,,,, that's a **** load of airplanes close by and I turn around and there is a forest fire behind me and the airplanes a e dropping flame retardant. Geuss I have another forest fire on my street again.
At this point, I am feeling used to it. Its the 4th fire on my street in the last 2 months haha All have been small so far, 15 acres, 2 acres, 1/4 acre and 10 acres. The one last year was 4,000 acres. I actually turned to one of the goats and asked it why it didnt tell me there was a fire near by it gave me an idiot look. The bird like things are the airplanes, there are 3 of them now. Edit: My girl at work at work has some website thingy and she says it is 2 houses over from my street, so its about 1 mile away from me maybe a bit more. please log in to view this image
I was going to a few years back before I met the girl. I had a job in London I was going to take but then I met this chick and stayed in the US.
Hopefully it burns out all your phone cables but nothing else just so Ive only got one person to catch next season in the prediction league
To bad sir, we use satellite internet out here, we are to far into the country to have any other type of internet. Taking out the power lines would work though. Looks like they got a handle on it, the planes just left and now its just a few fire trucks. It started in some idiots back yard. Probably out grilling or smoking or something equally as stupid. The last one was a stolen car that some other idiot decided to set on fire in order to destroy the evidence. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Saw it on the news here in Toronto last night elle. Glad it's passed over. As someone once said on here....build yourself a deep moat, or bugger off to Alcatraz island (my advice),where there's plenty of water to protect your chickens ( and burgeoning goat herd). Stay safe man.
It's actually way greener where I am than most of the state as I am at about 2,000 feet in elevation. I am down about 80 inches of rain in the last 4 years, it's way worse than that in the valley and the mountains. They say it is now the worst drought in at least 2,000 years by looking at tree rings ( we have trees that are over 3,000 years old so,it's easy to figure it out).
