There's not a day goes by without all 3 leaving , so I take no notice. But here's a couple of stories starting to be repeated, what do you think.
    1. Conte wants to buy back Ryan Bertrand.
    2. Zouma to be sold to PSG.
    3. Michy to West Ham.

    1. Fine by me.
    2. Hope not, but he's not playing much.
    3. He deserves another season, but has been pretty hopeless this one.

    Alan Pardew on Sky Sports
Marcus Alonso is an inexperienced player ( 26 years old played more than 220 games)
Gary Cahill is the weak link, can't play left back. ( But has most of the season and we're top of the League.)
Wonder why Pardew is out of work???

Agree with Pards to some extent about Cahill being weak link.
to be precise - Cahill+Alonso combo protected by Matic & backed by Thibo is plain awful.

Wont lose my sleep if Alonso, Thibo & Cahill leave.

    seconded.

You are aware Cahill just got voted in to the PL Season best XI, Stan?
I have said many times, I am not a huge Cahill fan, he is no where near JT when he was at his best.
But to hear you tell it, you would think he is utter dog ****.
How many times have you said this season alone "If Cahill starts we are done for!" for something along those lines, equally pathetic, and we have gone on to batter the opponent?

    Not end of.

Cahill always weakest link then & now in Defense.

Remember Matic used to play lights out for 18 months to protect JT & Cahill. Often taking up false CB role.

Didn't do too bad in the C.L final when he had Mikel in front of him. That's Mikel, yet another player you vilified.

Wonder how many of them crucial goals Cahill has scored this season would have been scored by whoever you want him replaced with.....

Like lots of posters, Cahill is a bit of a puzzle to me. He is sometimes inept when defending, but mostly he puts in 100% effort, scores goals and plays to a very high standard. In other words, he is a great defender at all except the very highest level and that makes him a valued team member in my book. He has more than held his position this season and played a big part in the teams' success. Seems very few think he is a world class defender, but most see him as well above average and a key player for the Club. That is getting pretty close to my view.
Any thoughts on Zouma being sold? Telegraph reporting he is to be loaned if we get Van Dycke.

The reason Cahill is found out is because of lack of protection from both Matic & Alonso.
Matic is trying to replicate Cescy's assist record. Matic forgot that he is a specialist playing in False CB position. Alonso well cannot defend or cross for toffee.

So Cahill is in lose - lose situation in the Defense.

He shows his commitment & heart through the goals he has scored. I don't blame his attitude, but his inability to Defend I cannot stand.

Well, screw me up the ****ter with the rough end of a pineapple, there are more disagreements and or discussions on here when we are about to be crowned champions, than last year when we were pants. Champions we will be, there I said it, because I believe in Conte and his methods. If Conte picks Cahill/Alonso/Fabregas/ nay, anyone for the role given to them I'm happy. No one gets it right 100% but he's done one hell of a job so far.

Only because of Conte, I still have 50% hope for the title.
Even with the 4 point lead, I would consider us underdogs - thanks to the pressure, expectation & fixtures scheduled.

Thankfully your predictions are ropey at the best of times.

2 weeks back you were saying we would struggle for top 4 if Cahill and Alonso kept playing. 2 weeks later we are in the fa cup final, qualified for the champions league, won 3 on the bounce, 4 points clear and with an easier run in and only 1 team within distance.

Lets all by pessimistic and miserable though.... <laugh>

You going to look a right wally in 3 weeks time.

I'd be happy with all 3 of these. I know i wasn't the only one on here who said how bad of a decision it was at the time to get rid of Bertrand and it seems like we're already regretting it. Would definitely let Zouma go but i'm surprised somebody like PSG want him. He's still raw and he's very, very limited on the ball which is why i think Ake is a better prospect. I'd send Batshuayi on loan only down to the fact we'd lose a lot of money if we sold him after this season. Hopefully he can get some experience of this division whilst gaining confidence and he could come in useful in the future!

Thanks for staying right on track ! Bertrand was always a really top player for us and we were nuts to sell him. Now he's even better. Zouma has not played enough since his injury, but loads of players have not had problems after surgery for the same injury, so I think he has every chance to be as good as ever. Now seems he might be loaned out, which is a good thing for him and his game time. Hope it all goes well for him, he looks every bit a future great. Batshuayi just needs regular game time before anyone can judge him, even though I have already said I don't think he's got it. I forgot my own rule, always judge on 2nd season ,not the 1st !!
