Watched one tonight called Don't Breathe about three chancers who break into a blind blokes house to steal his sizeable stash but it turns out he's a ****ed in the head war vet with an angry Rottie and it doesn't go well for them. I wasn't scared watching it, never really happens does it, but it was a good film in the genre.
Greatest theme music of all time, Magnificent 7 was beaten by exodus 1960, for me king of kings or how the west was won are the best, but so many. Out of Africa and the great escape.
There definitely will be a sequel the first one made a fortune, don't know if it's being filmed now but I'm sure they're cracking on with getting it made. Have you seen this one @Bri written by Julian Barratt and Simon Farnaby, looks like it'll be class. I've only heard of it today, might get down to the cinema to see it. Can't post a trailer because my phones being a knob about it for some reason but it's called Mindhorn.
Three greatest movie Bad Guys ever: 1) Anton Chegurh...the dude in No Country for Old Men. The Best 2) The creepy guy in Dirty Harry. Set the bar for everything after him. 3) Dr Lecter. Anthony Hopkins at his delectable best.
I'm listening to the No Country audiobook at the moment, I'd say the film does it justice. No mention of Chigurh's hair being a tad strange though.
I'm a big fan of Cormac McCarthy. He's a strange man, who's written some of the greatest novels of the last 50 years. Read the Border Trilogy if you're of a mind. Crazy good. Chigurh's hair....well, unexplained!
FFS, already knew it was a great movie, and yes, he played a great part ! Jesus, don't go all boring on me. Not a lot of fun left on here. I count on you..................oh crap, I'm ****ed.
Aye good film, shame the director hasn't made any more of the same quality since. Fun fact, the Spartans were so used to buggering each other that they would get their wives to shave their heads so when they were shagging them they could pretend they were actually doing Davus Maximus from work.
