Not a really new band, but I suppose some fo you won't of heard of them. Cracking tune, doesnt actually kick in till around 2 mins 20 secs, sort of jamming before then.

    A recent standout,

An older track (well 2005) by a band not too well known on this side of the pond, off a great album (Boxer- named as such not after a fighter, but they were in the doldrums before this album was released, so thought they'd be living minimum-wage lives months after it's release)

Stuff that few are likely to have heard of still qualifies as new music, on that basis here's an old favourite of mine from one of the most underrated bands of all time, from the band that inspired Nirvana.

If anyone wants to know the song it's 'Twisted Individual - Rusty Sheriffs Badge'

In 1991 Nirvana released 'Come as you are' :

But did they nick the intro from the 1984 Killing Joke track 'Eighties' (who sued them from plagurism, before the case was dropped when Cobain died):

Or did they both nick it from the 1982 Damned track 'Life goes on':

    You decide........

Chase & Status do a quality live instrumental gig, saw them at Leicester Uni when they did their release tour for End Credits with Plan B there. Supported by Nero, DJ SS, Simon Bassline Smith, Original Sin, Benga, Rob Sparx and Jon Maveric just to name the big names... needless to say it was an awesome night!!! If your a d'n'b/dubstep head like myself I'm sure you'd agree
