    My if fit XI.

    Giefer

    Mathews Flint Wright Goldbourne

    Cotterill Brownhill Hegeler Bryan

    Abraham Taylor

Best football City have played this year was in a 4-4-2 v Derby with virtually the above. Then of course Lee Johnosn the tactics Magpie changed that v Leeds to 4-4-1-1 then 4-4-2-0 and 4-3-3 or that might have been 4-3-2-1 and maybe a 3-5-2 for a bit.

    Non complicated game plan.

    You are at home.

    4-4-2

    Attack.

Press up the pitch instead of sitting just outside the box.

Forward quickly instead of 1mph sideways to go nowhere.

    Positive.

A team easily good enough to be competitive. They will win!!!!

Sad to say we are completely fooked under Johnson.
A Bristol double to be relegated.Football club and Rugby club under Lansdown ownership.
At least will have a Bristol Derby against the Rovers, highlight of the season that will be.

Thats why he said "if fit"...

Its hardly 'hot off the blocks' too.. he was being scanned 4 days ago and there was concern it could be serious!

Yeah if fit XI. Don't like change for changes sake. best City have played this year was at Derby first half in a 4-4-2. then City played a different set up v Leeds. what say you? back to 4-4-2 Taylor and Djuric instead?

Would go with that ... but I would go 4 -3 -1- 2 OR 3- 4-1-2 HOWEVER Fulham have scored in 4 home and 4 away match's 12 goals Home = 9 and 6 of those last 2 home games
City 4 home and 4 away also 12 goals at Home just 7 and 5 away BUT we do not Abraham

As a defensive midfielder Hegeler could be better??

Bright spark so far in a dismal season.

    Skuse ?
What did he ever do that was exceptional, for us OR Ipswich ?
A VERY average player who was sooo totally in his comfort zone here that he would be out of the game by now if he had stayed

What we need is a Gerry Gow - a real player, someone with a bit of grrrrrr (and something called drive)

Quite liked Skuse very decent defensive midfielder whom has spent years at this level but think Hegeler over seasons could be better. Not sure about Gerry Gow cant play like that anymore. have to stay on your feet now!!!! whats needed is leadership from the top. discipline from the top. Drive from the top. That sound like Lee Johnson??

I think we're also missing a leader on the pitch, a driving verbal force who won’t let standards slip when defending a lead!

this verbal force would have to follow Lee Johnsons tactics??? leadership and drive comes from the top. is that Lee Johnson????

anybody want to have their guess at the team against Fulham??? Lee Johnson could do anything. that would be no surprise.
