    Typical tory propaganda. Why mention all the facts when omission suits you better.

    3 things for you to consider (although selfish tories will immediately switch off now):

    1. The take home pays are completely wrong & manipulated. Never heard of National Insurance Contributions, currently running at an increased rate of 12%?
    2. The introduction & explosion of 'zero hours contracts'. Unheard of in 2010, & they now account for the majority of minimum wage jobs. You show me how many jobs are available under the tories with a guarantee of 40 hours. Go on, try for once. It's practically zero. Cruel bastard tories won't abolish it.
    3. There was a consistent trend of increase under Labour, culminating in their last implementation - for 2011, from the 2010 budget. Over the next 4 years, the tories refused to maintain this trend. Only in the last 2 years have they moved to address this cruel attack on some of the poorest people in this country. If you don't believe me, check this link http://www.tradingeconomics.com/united-kingdom/minimum-wages Remember to select 'trend' from the dropdown list.

    Once again, I have to re-state that I have never voted for Blue Labour (and most certainly not the fecin' SS tories). I just hate to see deliberately misleading propaganda. You should be ashamed of yourself, El. Imagine not checking the shiite you post. Then again, you're probably acting under orders. :D

    Not sure about that one jock,my firm employed loads of Zero hrs contract people in 2010-11 but have now made them all permanent.The now use agentcy for casual work.

    Take your word for it. I'd never heard of it then, and I'm sure most hadn't. But you can't argue that there hasn't been an explosion since - once firms realised how they could manipulate people legally by introducing it. It's a hateful practice IMO.
