    Good 1-0 win for England. It would have been really bad to go out with another loss after how they lost to Japan.

    He had a poor tournament and they still won it. Goes to show how good that Chile side is.

    Loved the way the girls celebrated bronze, it means so much, but the rest of the world must be wondering why we.'re so happy. When Japan pick up silver today, they will most likely be crying. Funny ol' game.

    The girls celebrated because they finished on a high after a huge disappointment. As one of them said, they weren't expected to get anything at this WC, so they over-achieved. And they beat Germany after 21 defeats. What's not to like.

    Exactly, it IS a big thing for these girls to beat Germany and get the bronze medals after losing out in such an unlucky manner in the semi. They could easily have been in the final today but lady luck just didnt shine on them in that semi when they matched Japan and prob shud have won the game really. To me it showed great resolve and fight-back-ability to play like they did last night and i was dead impressed with them. You could see it meant so much to those girls.

    If you have been inspired by this world cup, why not give your local WPL or WSL team some support? Matches are cheap, and increasing the support will increase the amount of money in the game (not just through ticket sales but also increasing the interest of sponsors) which will benefit England in the long run!

    This is a unique opportunity, clubs must market the hell of out of it.
