Well, first, Maddison wouldn't be down my pecking order to start with and wouldn't have gone out on loan. Second, It would knock out of the squad Lafferty and Naismith and mean we wouldn't just have Nelson and Jerome as strikers. Third, I'd play Berbatov up front, as he is a striker. Maddison is an attacking midfielder. So again, nope. (all is academical as his Wages would be obscene, it was kind of tongue in cheek)
On a slightly different topic - great to see Aberdeen firmly in 2nd place in the SPL!! Yes, I know they're 24 points behind Celtic and with a GD 25 below that of Celtic's!!
Off at a tangent but I have a soft spot for Fort William, I always look out for their score, they've had a couple of seasons of not finishing bottom but it's not looking so good this year!
There are teams across Europe who would offer him more than we could. I'm sure. Someone like Brondby FC would come in and offer more. Judging by our Board, they would offer him about 12,000 a week. I think he would get more elsewhere. Like Bristol City.
FANTASTIC draw for Lincoln City - away to Sutton/Arsenal!!!! And could be the end of ManUre's interest in the FA cup - away to Chelski!!!
So Arsenal and Newcastle both winning 1-0. Sutton have done well and I'd love to see them get a goal. Gayle off injured for Magpies.
Some interesting final Championship table positions predicted by a super computer and it will be interesting to see how accurate it is come May 7th - I wouldn't argue with the top 2 or the bottom 2 places, but I feel the play-offs are in the wrong order and I don't now feel that we're going to 'gate crash' any of the teams in there and 8th is probably about right for us and we can look forward to another season of Championship football. Let's just hope it's with significant changes to the squad, as otherwise I feel we 'could be always the bridesmaid, but never the bride!!!' PS - apologies for typing 'Wigan' as wigan.
Pretty much as I see it with us in 8th. I think Huddersfield will take 3rd and that Reading will just shade 6th slightly ahead of Fulham.
This is totally unacceptable, UEFA should act fast asnd hard! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-39028982
