Are we over-reacting just a tad here? He hasn't actually left yet and there's precious little else NCFC to mention just now.
I only mentioned his exciting news and I'm pleased for the lad as he's made a big step up this season. Good to see a local lad doing well.
I agree. I even felt a (slight) tinge of pride when I saw Redmond had been called into the senior squad - and he doesn't even wear the shirt any more! All about roots, affiliations, that old malarkey
Death threats for Vardy after some fans blame him for Ranieri's sacking. I always thought thought no one person was bigger than the club - does that not include the coach? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39334196
You don't half get some idiots about, have they not forgotten Vardy turned down advances from bigger clubs to stay? Not to mention the upturn in results since he left. And of course the biggest issue of all, Death threats over FOOTBALL! Get a life you fecking morons. Bah!
For anyone interested, the Scotland under 17 KO time has been brought forward to 4pm - http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fa_news.cfm?page=2986&newsID=16840&newsCategoryID=1. Let's hope Middleton plays and conjures up more wonder goals. Scotland can qualify for a fourth successive finals with a draw or a win against Switzerland at the Paisley 2021 Stadium.
Indeed, his goals vs Montenegro and Serbia were all top drawer strikes, I liked the one where the full back slipped by the corner flag and GM nipped in, wriggled along the bye line past more defenders and slotted in from a really narrow angle. That's class
One of the other defenders tried to pull him down in the box, but he just shrugged him off and carried on. He must spend hours in the gym working out.
I would think he's just under 6ft tall, but he's quite speedy and I just hope we can hold onto him beyond 2019. Just found this article - https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/glenn-middleton-norwich-city-16-124818172.html A couple of excerpts - If asked for a role model or a player that he bases his game around, his answer is simple: Gareth Bale. “I’m constantly watching videos of him (Bale) to try and incorporate what he does so well into my own game” says Middleton I particularly liked this final paragraph - "This being said, if his rapid meteoric rise can continue, aided by the guidance of Huckerby, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Scot completely bypass the loan route and walk straight into the first-team: something that he clearly believes is possible."
