It's exactly six (6!) years ago that young Danny Pacheco crowned the ultimate demolition job at the Portaloo
Horrible, horrible news. I was in shock when I heard that on the way home. I in no way expected his collapse to be fatal. So young and, he still looked really physically fit. Looked like he could do a better job in our defence, than our current crop! Really, really sad news. RIP.
Just seen this from the Scottish cup semi final - "Hibs were dangerously close to being out of this after goals from Rooney and Christie but Grant Holt's header has certainly given Neil Lennon's side hope at the break. "The Dons were dominating the midfield in particular until the big striker pulled one back and the men in red look rattled. Hibs are behind but the biggest roar at the HT whistle came from those in green here in the national stadium. The second 45 could well be a cracker." Big Grant Holt - in his 40s and still scoring (Goals that is!!!!) Edit - Just seen this - "Grant Holt scores for Hibs v Aberdeen in semi final at Hampden. I recall that young man in his Norwich City days. A fine fellow.!!" Score now 2-2.
Blimey, Huddersfield getting stuffed at home - losing to Fulham 4-1!!!! Doesn't make our score a couple of weeks ago look so bad. Several teams battling to avoid relegation though. So Burton staying up and Leeds losing ground in the chase for play-off places. I wonder who Feeds next opponents are???? Dare to dream ........ Edit - it's all happening. 1p5w1ch are losing at Rotherham.
Gutted for Leyton Orient and their fans, 112 years as a football league club and now jettisoned to that bloody conference thingy. I happen to know an 'Os' fan and really feel for him
How on earth are a club in as much of a mess as Hull, going to stay up!? That manager is class. Especially after a sending off, as ridiculous as that! A yellow would have been acceptable, but still a bit harsh. A red for that, is criminal. Could have seriously cost them.
Watching the game yesterday getting excited about the quality of Alli, Kane, Dier. Today looking at Sterling. Why aren't England a force!? Is it just the manager? Why can't this work going forward?
I think that part of the problem is that they sun great playing in their teams, but don't seem to be able to 'gel' when playing with others.
For a start Stones can't defend! Not sure about Lallana as anything further back than the front 3. Looks a side that would ship a lot of goals. Bah!
