Should have been in bed long ago, but warped interest, and a bottle of local rum, means I am still vaguehly able to retain an interest. Not the most entertaining match, given so much is at stake.
Crap final, but Justice. Huddersfield deserve to go up. Reading would have been a Boro. Huddersfield have the potential to be a Bournemouth.
Bit harsh on Huddersfield, I don't think they'll cheat their way into staying up like Howe and Wilson!
Wooow!! Calm down Dave! Say a word about how constantly sh*te Sunderland were every season and deserve relegation, and you get your Dukes up! Congratulate Huddersfield, and you lambast Bournemouth!
Well, Well - I said it would be a low scoring game; but I didn't think it would have ended 0-0 even after ET. I agree that Huddersfield deserve their chance in the PL and I'm hoping they can stay up for a couple of seasons at least. Edit - Just seen this on the BBC website - "Their season has been marked by their ability to find a way to win games, with 22 of their 25 league victories coming by a single-goal margin. Despite so many victories, they ended the regular season with a negative goal difference." Really pleased for them and I said when they beat us in December that they were the best team to visit CR.
I never mentioned Sunderland, most City fans have an affinity with the Black Cats after the '85 final. Bournemouth broke FFP rules, Wilson dives at every opportunity to great effect and check how many opposition players are sent off at Bournemouth, obviously trained into them, I really can't stand that that smirking excuse of a man Howe!
Agree with most of that Dave other than the Sunderland angle. Me and my mate must have been the only ones who had a confrontation with their fans in '85 I reckon. They've been flirting with relegation for years and like Coventry before them they deserved their demotion
Can't argue with your reasoning on demotion, the '85 cup final is, to the best of my knowledge, the only final where a "friendship cup" has been awarded and played for between the two teams. As you know, I've been to Sunderland several times now and have met a whole host of friendly Mackems!
Anyway, ignoring Sunderland for a minute (or ten seasons - dull as ditch water as a football club ) NCFC are having a series of fan consultations, as mooted by Webber and Stone recently. To participate, follow the link in this article. https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2017/may2/fan-engagement/
We've had our spats on here and FB Cromer but your Sunderland 'dull as ditch water' has just made a little bit of wee come out
This is amazing. 18 famous PL moments in one cartoon? I can see the (in)famous beach ball, Rooney's overhead kick, Beckham from his own half and Di Canio pushing the ref over. What have I missed? edit - I think I can also see Robbie Fowler snorting the white line!
Keown jumping at Nistlerooy, Saurez biting Ivanovic, Yak scoring a belter and shearer with the world's dullest goal celebration Bah!
Is that meant to be Roy Keane breaking David Busst's leg? And Kevin Keegan with his "I would love it - love it, if we beat them" rant - re ManUre?
Is that not the Yeboah volley? Would explain why Leeds are one of the hashtags. Can also see the wrong Arsenal player being send off. Gibbs and someone. Is that the Pires/Henry "passed" penalty debacle? Gerard slipping over to hand Chelsea the Premier League title?
