To be honest, I never thought we'd win and it's a damn sight closer than I expected but I still want to smash Farrell's smug little face in.
Ireland v England on the last day of the 6 Nations could be huge. It will decide the Championship, England could win the Grand Slam and they could also break the world record for consecutive test wins.
I lived in London for 20 years during the really dark times of Welsh rugby so I think I deserve a few Welsh wins...
It's going to be massive. Ireland were back to their best yesterday (admittedly Italy aren't exactly tough opposition at the moment) and, unless Scotland do something very special, England should go into the game unbeaten. Bring it on!!
Lomu died of kidney problems as well. I know two people is too small a group to judge, but I wonder if it is a genetic thing.....assuming they are both of Polynesian heritage. Looked it up and sadly am correct. End stage kidney disease is commoner in indigenous groups in that area. http://www.ishib.org/journal/16-2s2/ethn-16-2s2-24.pdf
Without having to face the New Zealanders who to my mind are still light years in advance!!! I see France have learnt nothing from the drubbing given to them in the World Cup. So they choose a pack that is big and try to bully their way to victory by sheer brute force. Hope they have arranged to play NZ in the summer and lets see NZ put another 50 points on the board. I know the British Lions are going there, but I remain hopeful that the All Blacks will win that series.
