That region, by the way, is the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. The Schofield family tree and the census results around here are virtually indistinguishable.

Seen the highlights. Wouldn't mind the watching the entire glorious 80 minutes though to be honest.

In rugby union, England's senior women and men's U20 beat Ireland to win the 6 nations....just the men's senior team this afternoon to go.

Absolutely gutted for Wales. Where did 20 minutes extra come from? Total gamesmanship by the French to spin things out as long as possible. The French are not that disciplined not to have knocked on, committed a foul, stepped offside in those added on time. Did Wales not even get hold of the ball in those final 20 minutes to have put the ball out of play? Please don't tell me the bully boy French deserved it as they are the 2nd worst team in the 6 Nations? PS I am in Russia so only have BBC text.

Hopefully, when France have tour the Southern Hemisphere, SA, Australia and NZ will absolutely slaughter them. All they can do is batter teams like Scotland and Wales into submission because of the power of their pack. NZ would move the French all over the place, England can match their physicality so are not intimidated, while it was great to see Ireland beat them.

From what I saw, it was the Welsh cynically slowing the game down, collapsing the scrum and holding the game up in order to get their man back from the sin-bin. Can't say I was impresssed with either team, nor the officials who ignored a clear yellow card against Wales early on, but gave one against France for a slightly less cynical one.
I'm the end, the whole game suffered - can't see any of the Southern Hemisphere teams quaking in their boots at the thought of facing any of the teams so far.

Er it was the Welsh who were playing dirty. They deserved what they got.

Only saw it from 75 mins onwards. The French spent the entire extra 20 minutes within 5 or 10 yards of the Welsh line. The Welsh gave away several penalties and of course the French opted for scrums, at least one of which took up 8 minutes.

Looks like Ireland really want to burst England's bubble. England not being allowed to keep hold of the ball for long enough to start controlling the game.
Jones will need to work his magic during the break.

England losing 10-3 at half-time. Playing poorly with unnecessary mistakes. Ireland playing well and keeping possession. Hopefully England will do what they have done previously and play better in the 2nd half.

Very annoyed about how England are letting Ireland dictate the game and making stupid mistakes. They can't hold themselves up as a truly great team if they can't win this one.
Giving the Irish a 7 point start is not the way to win in Dublin!

Didn't say that - the French were almost as cynical, but Wales were just killing the game to stop France taking advantage of the extra man.
Just thought all the games today have been really disappointing

Come on Ireland. My mother was from Ireland so I have a good reason to cheer them on.

England absolutely dismal, credit to Ireland they played solidly, though nothing more than that. Pretty much zero good play going forward with ball in hand all match.

All England had was Farrell's kicks and a few borderline late hits on Sexton.

6N champions though, and certainly enough talent to springboard to the level of the All blacks! If jones can get them playing 100% very match.
