The British America's Cup boat has been damaged in a collision during its second race. It won its first against the Swedish. I've been wondering how the opposition are going to beat Sir Ben Ainslie, cause they certainly can't out-think him. So quite obviously, they are trying to sink him. The collision happened when the Japanese boat drew alongside dangerously close, but having the right of wind, and the British boat got caught by a surge in the wind and instead of luffing up and turning away, the British boat banged into the Japanese boat. So, under racing rules, the British were in the wrong, although seconds earlier there had been no Japanese boat to bang into, and you can bet they wouldn't have done it on purpose. The British were docked two boat lengths along with a hole in one of the hulls. Nice.

Scarlets have won the Pro12 title by beating Munster 22-46 in Dublin They beat Leinster in the semi final last week so thoroughly deserve the title. Huge bragging rights over the Ospreys for the next few months, at least
Evans takes first set against Robredo in Paris. Playing very well on his least favourite surface....so be interesting if he can keep it up. Court temperature is 34+
Evans looking dead on his feet with a bright red face....us Brits are just not used temperatures much above 15 deg.
