Same here. Could take or leave last night's headliners. Resoundingly passable, but Royal Blood were great
I liked that he was absolutely on it musically, but couldn't quite decide whether Mike Kerr was on it chemically. I thought it was part of their dynamic, but my missus thought he was off his tits...
Precisely. I thought it was part cool-kid act and part being **** scared at performing to thousands of people, but he might have been out of the moment so to speak
He needs a mouth to fit his teeth, or vice versa. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
One of the blokes at work, in his forties, is a Leeds supporter, he's originally from Leeds, still has the accent, and is a top bloke, that I have absolutely no issue with. On the other hand one of the others, mid fifties, is a Rervers and Manchester Utd fan, born and bred in Hull. **** the **** off!
Cannot make up my mind as to whether he should close the book on the Bee Gees chapter, (I know that he will never be able to no more than Paul McCartney/Ringo Starr can close the book on being Beatles), and concentrate on the writing side of things, or carry on and bathe in the glory of being a member of a former Super Group. I don't think the songwriting abilities of the brothers Gibb have been fully appreciated but if you look at the time they were writers the opposition was formidable. Not to mention Lennon/McCartney, you can also include George Harrison, Jagger/Richards, The Eagles, The Beach Boys, Ray Davis, David Bowie, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Holland Dozier Holland, Goffin-King, Paul Simon, I've barely scratched the surface but I think you may get the drift.
Best so far for me was Hamilton Leithauser by a running mile. The ex singer of The Walkmen. New solo album out. Brilliant songs, immense performance.
