........thanks for the memory. We can all be in denial but he is off or I'll weld the cap on my whisky bottle.
I am presuming he was on the bench on Saturday because of imminent transfer to Man Utd - is that the current perception back in UK? I have not picked up any news from here about an injury - happy to be correct.
Sigh, unless we're playing hardball with him. But considering what he's given to us shouldn't we just let him go if he wants to make the big time?
Just maybe he wants to return to Portugal and help Sporting Lisbon, one of his previous clubs to domestic and European success.
Oh no! So are we all basically resigned to him leaving now? I took his "#wemarchon together" Instagram post that he was committed and was staying, but then today I see the picture he put up of the Premier League trophy and can't explain it in any other way than he is going/wants to go to Man United.
This one is a bit like the Morgan transfer (not just because it appears to be to Man Utd). Really can't begrudge him his move as, like Morgan, if anyone has "earnt" the right to move on to one of the biggest clubs in the world it is Jose.
Not for that reason, no. He was happy to take a new contract in October and he should live with it. If, however, we're being offered daft money (just in Euro winning team price premium) then we should take it. He's 33 and on the downslope. Vin
Officially, Claude didn't start him because he wasn't fit enough (but started Cedric). Personally, I think there's more to it.
Beef did mention a young CB being in the pipeline. If he's young and good, well, that would be very interesting. (we could probably use one even if Jose stays actually)
