Very lucky getting through on her 4th attempt. Next time this happens, can I borrow here to get my tickets?
Over 34,117 tickets sold as of 11am this morning. Grimsby late last night said they sold around 60o0. Confererence confirmed 7000 approx neutrals got tickets. Means around 21,000 gasheads after just over 3 days in total and just over 24 hours of going out on general sale. Not bad gasheads Record attendance for play offs in the conference is 42,669 set in May 2010 Oxford v York. Oxford took around 33,000 themselves http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Conference_Premier_play-off_Final
I have checked the seetickets site pretending to book tickets just to see what blocks are available, basically to gauge how much we have sold. Currenty we are booking up to block 544. Meaning we have sold out all level 1 tickets and all level 2 tickets. And most of level 5 as well. Grimsby are booking 113-115 so they are still on level 1. I expected better from them to be honest! please log in to view this image
Do we know how many tickets are available for each club. I seem to remember that for Shrewsbury one level was completely empty. I presume that levels three and four are held for other reasons.
level 3 and 4 are boxes etc i think and for those who have life tickets or 10 year tickets etc. as for how many each side were given, there is no restriction. they said the stadium wont be sold out so no point restricting 1 team if 1 team have moe than the other. they will open 1 level at a time and 1 block at a time so they save having stewards/staff in areas not needed and can close off sections that are not sold. if we sell out our half then they will move segreation to give us more and grimsby less etc. they will keep selling tickets and adjusting segregation as long as there is demand from the public. remember, 7000 took up the option to have neutral tickets for £10 instead of £44. how many of these will actually show up? 850 of these 7000 were barnet fans. how many will turn up seeing they won the league and not involved in the play offs. i dont believe all 7000 neutrals will turn up!
http://www.wembleystadium.com/TheStadium/ViewFromYourSeat.aspx#seat:551|event:sports good view but you may not be able to see the trophy being lifted (if we win it) as it will be in the lower level and its a bit of a drop
I'm in block 131 http://www.wembleystadium.com/TheStadium/ViewFromYourSeat.aspx#seat:131|event:sports
In fairness its a hell of a trek for any Grimsby fans travelling on the day. The coaches will have to leave at silly o'clock to get there, gotta be 5+ hour journey? The first train out of Grimsby doesn't leave till 0835 (and its a bus! ) to Doncaster. Then its train to Kings Cross, tube to Marylebone, train to Wembley Stadium and the earliest they can get there is 1418, 18 mins after the game kicks off! A later kick off would have been kinder to them - I'm afraid Network Rail dont really consider sporting events when planning their engineering works. For example,if Swindon make it to Wembley for their play off final, it will be on a day when there are NO trains running from or through Swindon all day. Guess the local coach companies are rubbing their hands with glee!
A shot in the dark....................... I already have three tickets in BLOCK 139, ROW 9. Now a fourth member of the family would like to come! If anyone has a spare ticket in that area ( seetickets don't have any) please contact me.
Sorted - can't wait ! Was supposed to be going to Spain on Sunday for first holiday in about 3 years, but decided you can go on holiday any time - I've only seen us at Wembley once in nearly 50 years of supporting - only one decision really !!
You are in the block next to Bluebaldee Your view http://www.wembleystadium.com/TheStadium/ViewFromYourSeat.aspx#seat:550|event:sports
Don't get me wrong its good going but why they have the conference final at a 90,000 stadium is still IMO a bit of a strange one the stadium. Villa Park would be a perfect venue IMO
