After the game of the season it's the game of the form teams at St James Park against the Grecians who have shot up the league on their ten game unbeaten run and have won their last five and now sit in the final playoff place just one place and point behind the Chairboys and after the weekends exertions this will be a difficult task to come away with any sort of positive result but the Grecians home record isn't very impressive having only won three times and we have our own 12 game unbeaten run to preserve which dates back over 3 months now. Gaz is likely to ring the changes with games coming thick and fast and new signing Alex Jakubiak could go straight into the starting line up Sanders and Weston are also pushing for a start and Harriman may feature. I won't be making the long January Tuesday night trip to the south west but I will be following the game and will be hoping there is enough left in the tank for the lads to be heading back along the M5 with our unbeated run intact
I would expect Weston to start after seeing him leave Dyer for dead and pick out Thompson for the 3rd. SS likely to start as he only played for part of the second half. Wouldn't be surprised to see Thompson rewarded with a start. As for the rest of the team, they must be knackered. Hopefully the new signing will play (either start or sub). After Saturday's exertions and Exeter doing Pompey I fully expect to lose this one. 2-0, hopefully no worse
I think if we come away with two draws over our next two league fixtures after the exertions of Saturday we will have done well. According to the two Pompey season ticket holders at work Pompey were awful on Saturday
Wycombe: Blackman, Harriman, Jombati, De Havilland, Muller, Gape, Bean, Saunders, Weston, Thompson, Kashket. #EXEvWYC
7 changes and still a pretty good team. Good times. But will be struggling against in form Exeter; just like Spurs were against us
