Not good greeny, but I fully expected to lose tonight. Pulled one back in the 89th minute to make it 3-2. I'm guessing we went all out for the equaliser believing that it's better to lose 4-2 going for the equaliser than to keep it at 3-2. At least our new loanee scored on his début. Not so bad for you as you are well clear of the pack
Correction. We play Portsmouth at home. We have to win that one or we could slide down the table (looking at the next few weeks).
We all have to play each other still at some point Ron. We were in the same position last season as this and look what happened to us in the end. I couldn't bear it if we did it again. We have a cussion but it can be very short lived.
Patched up team last night with Ainsworth understandably trying to rest a few after the weekends exploits at Spurs. Although I am disappointed with the result, it's hardly a shock bearing in mind their current form and our team changes. Nice to see how gracious in victory our Grecian friends were on the vital report (not)!!!
It's all about the cash at the moment for me. If we can build a squad and keep strengthening with the extra cash, then we would have a chance at survival in League 1. Without it we will fall in yo the trap of promotion chasing and then having a dire following season if promoted. Our last venture in to league1 saw crowds plummet and fans becoming demoralised. Bring on the cash!
For those of you who can't get to the Coventry game its on live TV Sky Sports 1 from 7.15pm next Tuesday
