    took a while to prove his worth but in the end an excellent appointment - 3 memorable years, lets hope for more!

    I always had faith in him, even before he was appointed. Stuff the qualifications. There are certain attributes you must have to get the best out of people. Qualifications are no substitution; they can be obtained.

    Think it's fair to say i wanted him out long before our great escape as i couldn't see us staying in The Football League before Mansfield did us a massive favour, i suppose he's winning me over now <laugh><laugh>

    Gareth has done an amazing job turning the club around.as a player he played the game with pride passion and commitment and that's how he has carried on in management. He won't have players that don't give 100 per cent every game and that's all you can ask for as a fan. Well done to Gareth let's hope he stays for a few more years yet .
