They are performing their own great escape. I'm sure they were well adrift at the bottom before Christmas? They are now third bottom and won the last 2 and 7th in the league 2 form table. Incredible effort. First time out of the bottom 2 since October.

Had some good trips to Hartlepool.

I know it's the game but I find it quite sad when certain clubs drop through the trapdoor. Hartlepool would be one of those clubs.

7th February they where 9 points a drift of 22nd.

They gained 18 points from the last 10 games.

That is a very impressive turnaround. They've won 4 of their last 6 games. It's hard for teams like Hartlepool when they've got Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Sunderland on the doorstep. I wish them well - proper club.

The last time I used the term, actually in Hartlepool, I almost had to count my teeth. Some of the locals react rather hostilely when they hear the term.

I did only say 'some' of the locals. I usually find the ones with no sense of humour

They can't be that upset, their mascot is Angus the Monkey.
