Harry Maguire is this years Hull City Official Supporters Club “Player of the Year”.

This year the OSC decided that rather than present a trophy to the winner, it would make a donation to the players nominated charity.

Lucy Rathbone from the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice was presented with a cheque for £500 by Kathryn Townsley, HCOSC Marketing Director, in the presence of Harry at the training ground.

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice offers care and support to children with a shortened life expectancy, both in their own homes and at their hospice in North Anston.

The donation adds to the list of support given by the OSC to charities and community organisations during the 2016/17 football season. Its twice monthly fundraising quiz nights are proving to be so popular that an additional night has been added.

Good choice of player. Good decision to give money on behalf of the player. Good charity chosen.

    Well done to all involved.
