I'm curious who told the Mackem player what to tweet? It throws a shadow over the authenticity of all of their 'player comms now'.... like a coal to the fire which is glowing warmly.....
It was described as his "media" manager from memory. None of the tweets now will be believed to be genuine except perhaps Joey Barton's!!
I read an article about how we shouldn't follow footballers anymore. No footballer tweets what they want, its all "thanks EA for the new FIFA 17 game" and "well done boys good result". Twitter for players used to be fun, but clubs manage it and make sure they don't tweet anything controversial, it's just become a platform for brands to advertise, all players should be unfollowed especially players like Paul Pogba
Possibly not as bad as the official sunderland twitter account who tweeted about Nathan Redmond creating a chance in the match between the two sides last night, although Redmond was still on the bench. Southampton replied with this...
Sunderland are just calamitous in every way. Bit of a joke at present which is a disgrace to their long suffering fanbase. I feel really sorry for them...
