The Club can confirm that Markus Henriksen sustained a foot injury in Tuesday night’s defeat to Wolves.

The Norwegian international midfielder picked up the injury during the second half of our Sky Bet Championship clash at the KCOM Stadium.

The expected recovery and rehabilitation is likely to see him return to training in four-to-six weeks.

    Never rains...

Bugger. I was hoping he'd move into Abels place in a 4-4-1-1. With either Stewart or Meyler in cm.
    Think that's his best position.

At least we have plenty of strength in depth to deal with it.

On a plus point we've no chance of any of the club's left backs getting injured.

I guess that means Diomande up front and either Meyler or Larsson in the middle alongside Clucas (assuming he's still here).

I'm not surprised. I can't remember what happened but I remember seeing him in front of the south stand goal grimacing and then limping with a foot problem.

So with him out, Hernandez out and potentially Clucas going that leaves the starting line up as:

    McGregor
    Aina Dawson Hector Clark
    Grosicki ???? ???? Bowen
    Campbell ????

Who fills those spots? Meyler for sure. Diomande up front?! or Larsson making 3 AMs with Bowen and Grosicki? What about the other CM spot? Does Stewart really exist? Aina to left back, Lenihan in and Clark into midfield?

It reminds me of a Sunday league club team sheet on a friday, with the demented manager running around trying to find 3 names to fill the gaps.

I'm still to be convinced, but I thought he was starting to look more comfortable

We have more first team players in the treatment room than available for selection. We genuinely have a horrendous track record with injuries. Non seem to be short term injuries either.

Radical idea, but I've heard that some teams buy enough players so they still have some available in case this happens

Nice to see Ehab took on board what Silva advised him on at his exit meeting. It's a total **** shower.

    What's the injury list now?

    Dave
    Keane
    Hernandez
    Evandro
    Stewart
    Hendrickson
    Mason

There's some ****ing good players in there, probably costing a good bit of money. The squad isn't that small, but we have had real **** luck with injuries ever since Steve Bruce arrived.

Edit: David Marshall too. Basically a third of our squad list, most of them considered to be key players.

Sad news for the player but we've been playing as if he wasn't there anyway .. Meyler in .. fingers crossed Stewart will be fit .. and the goal threat that is Diofuckinmande up top with Campbell .. I can see QPR quaking in their boots from here

Why. I think he'll be a good foil for Campbell. He's good in the air and runs his bolocks off. If he's down the centre he can do some good work and create openings for frazer

His second touch more often then not is a tackle .. how the fk is that gonna help Campbell .. I can run around a lot and jump .. perhaps I'll offer myself up for selection too
