    No, I said Chelsea started it by valuing him at £75m.
    We seem to going round in circles arguing different points.

    Read the OP: he asked: How can L be worth £75m? (not £90 or £100m)

    Fact: Chelsea bid £75m first
    Then United bid £75m + add ons - L decides to go to Manchester.

    So answer to the OP question: How or why £75m? Chelsea were responsible as they started the bidding at £75m.

    If Chelsea had bid £50m and united bought him for £75m (+add ons) then the answer to the original question would have been United being desperate and bidding too high.

    Just addressing the OP question. It is not difficult. <ok>

    Hope so. We could have got top 4 last season by dropping the Europa bid. But where will this have taken us? The qualification stage to the CL league part. <ok>

    Not sure, all other teams still have additions to make before the window closes and things were already tight.
    I think whoever makes top 4 this time will have really had to earn it.
