The guy should have been playing last season,is the manager starting to learn These two are set to return tomorrow night! If things click for him, then he could be thoroughly excellent. He's scored some nice goals for Iceland against Ireland and Croatia. It could be tough on one of him, Flint or Wright if two establish themselves as first choice, but you want a bit of competition. It might be an idea to try three defenders with wing-backs again...
Not saying he wouldn't but you said we should have been played him last season, which we did. You then said you would play him instead of Wright even though our fortunes changed when he was replaced by Wright
Don't confuse him please otherwise he goes on Facebook page "Bristol City Till I Die" and bores them.
Is he that good or was he over hyped off the back of Icelands Euro 2016 ( in which he barely played I might add) and also because he came from Juventus everyone just assumed he was awesome? Anyone remember that Welsh forward who had 1 good game at the same Euros and was talked up? No, me neither!
I'm a big fan of HM. Have to say when he came on last night he was quite poor. Hegeler looked better at the ball playing CB role in the first half. Could be that lack of game time has affected Hordur. With Baker signing sadly I think he might be better off moving. It feels to me like he is going backwards stuck on our bench. A real waste imo.
Just out of interest, where would you of played Engvall last season? After all you wanted Tomlin and Abraham playing all the time, and when Taylor scored you kept saying he will be great for us as he knows where the "onion bag is" So please tell me what position you wanted Engvall to play in? Also out of interest where has he said he wants to leave? Yes he choose to go home to play his loan games but that could be due to a few things. 1 - it's where he's most likely to get spotted and picked for Sweden's under 21's 2 - his girlfriend was still in school so unable to move here until now. You need players as a squad and you can't fit 20 players into 11 starters and 5 subs so there are always going to be some upset players.
