Please not the last two, or the 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th either At least Colin's employed so we don't need to worry about him! Bah!
I think the author of this article has been down the pub since lunchtime - "Pardew left Palace in December after a torrid run of one win in 11 games but could be offered a swift return to management by the ambitious East Anglian club." Errrm - NOT whilst Delia at al are still in charge and if we were ambitious, AN would surely have been sacked at the end of last season AT THE LATEST!!!
Fair, but if you're going to use that as a stick to beat him with you also have to recognise that he also brought more money in from player sales than any other manager! Swings and roundabouts really! It's all relative!
He also lost us the biggest payday ever for the club getting us relegated from the Premiership!! And he bought Naismith, the biggest flop since Wolfswinkle.
Surely if you're send more on players then when you sell them on you should get more. Was there any particular player you had in mind that he got more for than they were worth ?
Absolutely and a long march starts with a single step, the board took many steps forward yesterday, but the club is still a long way from its intended destination, but you've got to start somewhere.
sacking Hughton was when it started should have kept him until the end of that season and then done a proper job bunch of amateurs
Or got shot of him far sooner, so that the new incumbent had more than five (5) tricky matches in charge at the tail end of the season to save our skins!
