Quality draw!!! If we can get past Hull (fairly confident we can) anything can happen over the two legged semi finals! HTL

I I know we haven't qualified for the semis, and might not, but if we do, I'm not sure whether this helps us. Although I'm sure Rafa would have the right game plan and mind-set for both games, let's hopefully try and get there and then take it as it comes.
Yeah, but unless Leeds somehow makes it through, we are going to be playing somebody quite a bit better than us at the semi final stage. It's easier to get one quirky result than two.
there's a whole multitude of possibilities, for instance. Man U in the semi's first leg at home, Jose has never won at SJP so we could possibly take a lead to OT and just defend it. West ham, crap at home, first leg could be away, nice little 1-0 lead to take home and defend. or a 0-0 away draw then bring them back to our place with 52,000 fans willing the team on. Anything could happen! We could possibly get destroyed too
I think 2 legs is better than a straight knockout, especially at the semi's stage. So many possibilities that way as opposed to win and go through or lose and get knocked out. If its tight or your winning the first leg go with a strong squad for the second game or if you get battered, I don't know 6-0 say.... you can have a look at some fringe youth players in the second leg.
It's possible mate just saying let's just See what happens I think we will win the cup in fact I'd say it's highly unlikely
Hull have played ManU, Arsenal and Liverpool and theyre the only ones they have lost against. dont be too cocky
TBH i think this is a great game for us to gauge where we actually are in all seriousness. We are walking the championship atm but the gulf is large and Hull will be around the bottom of the table so I think its a good tie for us in that respect!
Not quite sure where you are getting your statistics from or whether you are living in the past but you have also lost to Chelsea, Stoke and Bournemouth in October. Agree that you should still be favourites being the Premier League side and at home but am not unhappy going into this as underdogs. Sometimes helps when the players can play without the pressure of failure.
