I was at the Burnley game, first home game for ages so I dunno how long this latest version of the system has been in but it just straight up didn't work on our turnstile. Put the barcode on the scanner and it did **** all. Now what? It's an utter shambles that everyone's had to just get used to these massive queues every week no matter how empty it is. Even though there never used to be a problem when the ground was full every week before this ****e system.
Just out of interest...for those who went, why did you go? Chance to see some youngsters? Want to see some unknown foreign talent? It was a quid and you had nothing better to do on a freezing February night? Genuinely interested.
I have already said previously I personally preferred to go to watch the U23's against Man City as I usually get to all their home games. However I was taking my grandson and friend, and they preferred to go to this one. However I did enjoy the game, it was good to see a lot of youngsters there as well as a lot of different nationalities. The Kenyan's had a couple of decent players 8 & 9 looked reasonable, but the whole side had more pace than our youngsters, and their fitness levels stood up well and in fact looked better than ours.
I'd guess none of them have ever played football in temps anywhere near the level they were last njght
I am sure you're right there, I was driving over the top through Nth Newbald going to the game and it was sleeting like ****, I really felt for these guys if they had to play in this weather. At least for the game for the most part it didn't rain, so it could have been a lot worst.
They are both pass holders never miss a game, and get to most away games as well, just the supporters we need young and enthusiastic.
Hull City @HullCity We can confirm that Max Sheaf is now at home & recovering well after suffering a Temporal bone fracture against the @SportPesa All-Stars.
good news about sheaf speaking of that game, i thought olley and kelledy really stood out and surprisingly tymon was very anonymous
