Sometimes I like to work at my entertainment so often avoid the oh so obvious reply. As 'someone' elsewhere once posted "to get your attention makes me smile." The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
It was Arco Intersport, I remember twagging off school to meet Kenny Dalglish there, celebrating something like 100 games (goals??) for Liverpool, Celtic and Scotland. He was a miserable twat and asked why we wasn't at school. Also met Geoff Capes there too, he was also a miserable twat. Should have stayed at school
I've met Kenny, spent a whole weekend with him, he is anything but a miserable twat. However doing a public appearance at Arco back in those days probably was good enough reason tbh.
I remember saving my pocket money to get a Kenny Dalglish commemorative football that he signed. I will have been about 13 probably, so late 80s it will have been.
It will be interesting to see this thing in action, as a sculpture alone, it looks pretty ugly to me. please log in to view this image
At first glance I quite like it. Seems better than the original pictures some months back. Not quite as trash-canny
No !! I met Geoff Capes at Costello when I was young and he was a right miserable twat. The USA athletes whete a lot nicer.
Went by the new thing earlier today. Not as big as I thought it would be. Looks alright to me, I reckon in the evening it will look very nice actually. They need to ensure our feathered population in Queens Gardens don't cover it in ****.
