A friend of mine works in there and I keep saying I'm going to go in, but never seem to get round to it. Still not managed a meal at Butler Whites yet either.
The bestest is at the Motherinlaws, but it comes with the Motherinlaw. Ya can't have ya pie and eat it...
Way way back when I was at collage the best steak pie was to be found in Havasnack Beverley Market Place. I think it was the type of dinosaur meat they used, yum yum.
I'm not a fan, though my son and in law loves them, I much prefer the fish pie. Though it's not a pie at all.
. Kidney can GTF Kidney spent it's whole life marinading in piss. I once spent ten minutes picking kidney out a pie the Mother-in-law had 'lovingly' made for me, only for her to tell me they were button mushrooms sliced in half.
**** sake your manliness rating just plummeted. Tell me you weren't one of the tarts who agreed with the EU stopping us having the kidney still attached to the pork chop. A sad sad day in the Rheinhold household that was. Ted Key in branny market held out for awhile but no even he gave in in the end.
Ted Key used to take beef home with him and rub it his hair. He reckoned it was the elixir of hair. FACT!
please log in to view this image Pics of the new music venue progress taken today from the third floor of Princess Quay car park. I had to some store audits - went past the Poppy display - impressive - adds some nice colour. I do find incredible that a quarter of the way into our City of Culture year they are still not finished on the pedestrian walk ways with large areas still cordoned off. That is disappointing, it looks, to anyone especially those from out of town poorly planned. Then empty shops, I hate to see empty shops. Well there's bloody loads of them and they look dreadful. At least if they are empty something could have been done to make them look less run down.
The public realm works are supposed to be finished by the end of this week, with just some snagging to be sorted over the following couple of weeks. Work has stopped on the new cycling track at Ennerdale, as a bunch of travellers are busy ****ing up the site.
The new venue looks impressive but I just cant help but feel that the whole thing will go the way of the current ice arena in 10 years time. I may well be wrong but it smacks of the council having a wad of cash burning a hole in their pocket and decided to build this regardless of whether its big enough or not. It seems that HCC like to spend money for the short term rather strategically plan for the future. The last time they seemed to do that was when the stadium was built. It's probably not just a Hull thing. Our LA is Bradford and they spend money on **** nobody needs all the time. Then decide to close all public toilets other than those right in the city centre.
To be honest I doubt they'll be finished on time. There was loads still to do on Monday. For every 10 workmen, I'm being generous here, there were probably 4 standing around doing **** all.
