Depends if you give two ****s about the future of the planet I s'pose. But heaven forbid you have to walk a bit.
I drive to City, but I live in Pock, I pick up my son and grandson in Swanland, but have a parking place at the KCOM, so have to keep sober. EDIT: As a matter of interest I do come into Hull 2 or 3 times a month on the bus, useful being a pensioner.
I fell for that once. By a cruel twist of fate, I ended up driving to Doncaster for the game that involved Danny (one for the future) Webb. To add insult to injury, two of the passengers were teetotal. I still remember thinking 'is this really what football looks like to some people'. Definitely a lesson learned there.
That's is it for some I think. I know some that see a bus as a no no for travelling like it's below them. Some haven't got a bus in the past decade.
I'm astonished at the logic of some of those that complain about the time it takes to get away from the KCom by car. Some have mentioned that it takes them over an hour to get the three miles home. Unless they're disabled, most people can walk it far quicker than that, and it'd mean they could watch the game to the final whistle.
Takes me 20 minutes to get to Swanland after the game, but I do stay in the lounge for 30 minutes afterwards to let everyone get away.
Last time i worked in town, which was ten years ago, i walked there in a morning and walked home again at night. I was just too ****ed to do owt at work, which suited me just fine.
Ah, but that would be compensated by that increase in the pension pot all the early deaths would bring.
They've definitely screwed up the rent reviews at St Stephens, Zara, Sports Direct, USC and Dorothy Perkins have all now confirmed they're moving out.
