Good news for the pubs, they're rammed apparently.
Colour Scene already sold out?
I'm just there now... great turnout pubs heaving everywhere including prinny quay side...carvers cashing in.... just heard gang singing let's go back to nandos lol
They'll be dancing in bonny boat tonight...
Abandoned it. Too many people. Off to pub. Need to organise it better next time.
I'm here now
Even the actual cafe has run out of food
Oh and most places are running very low on beer too!!!
I predict carnage here
You can't be posting from here can you? On your Nokia 001 ?
Sacking it off when I've finished these two pints...going to pub
All pubs quoting hour wait for food. Lots of unhappy people about. Just ribs and bones left on everyone
Meant where you are den .no food or booze. Can see you going hulk.
Is askew with you?
True. There has always been a perception amongst the powers that be in Hull that "our people" want the lowest common denominator.
Never found waiting an hour for food in a pub a problem as long as the beer is served quickly.
Fine for me but hungry others with me grrrrrr...
Went to the food fest, chokka. Retired to Al Porto. Chaos really.
Got there at 6.15. Queues everywhere but not much left in the way of food. Not much organisation and not as many food stalls as I expected. Ended up in Papas!
I was ok for booze
There was still a nice hand pull porter (4.2% mutiny) available. However the lager and cider crowd were sadly out of options (Mrs Tash just stuck some black currant in her porter and got on with it)
Disaster food wise though
Askews is missing in action...I think he's just got back from a 3 week US road trip but I haven't seen him so he could well have added Guantanamo to his journey!
Gold crest.... one and a half hour wait........ not one beer had yet..........
We had a ten minute queue for beer when we got there at half six
Had a few, gave up on food, and I'm already back in Anlaby for beer and tapas
Turned up and thought **** that. Walked back home.
Crowds like that are fine for a piss up with the lads but a bit much for taking the kid to.
