It says 'in the region of' £10 , so maybe it was £9.89 or even £9.99

Everyones contract is going to be different. Diame I am certain would have insisted on a bog standard release clause, it's been well documented in the past he thinks himself worthy of one of the top clubs. When he signed he said he came because he wanted to play centrally to show what he could really do.

Any relegation release clauses would hve been just that. We're not relegated anymore.

I wonder who is agreeing the improved contract? Likewise Clucas extension?

The Looney Two or the 'new owners' whoever they might be?

If its those two idiots, the action seems at odds with them slashing costs everywhere else.

If the new owners, how can they do that if not formally announced as the owners?

I'm 99% sure Abel has a one year optional extention on his contract. So if he doesn't sign a new one, would he still be free to sign a pre contract with a foreign club in January assuming the option hasn't yet been triggered?

I wonder how much he appreciates having public pressure put on him to sign the new deal.

The extension option is in the club's favour, and I'd be surprised if we hadn't already triggered them for Robertson, Maguire and Hernandez.

Not reliable at all. Its not that late for you and me, but think about what time it is in England. There is no way that this account has inside info that no one else had. Everyone else including all the main suspects would have that info if it had happened hours and hours ago. For this to be breaking news it has to be nonsense because Hernandez did not have that convo with the club while he was asleep.

Yea thats my point. If it was from 5 hours ago we can theorize that the supposed convo would have had to have happened at least an hour or so before that, maybe more for it to have trickled down to this person but look what time it is. For it to be plausible everyone would have that info by now. It is 5:30 am in England so that tweet is from 12:30 and we know that he didnt have a convo like that at 12:30 lets say it happend at 8pm which is more reasonable. Its simply not possible that some random twitter transfer account got info from 9 hours ago and no one else has that information. So it didnt happen.

I guess so, I did start by saying I don't know how reliable it is, but you never know.

I see he is resting a groin injury, so won't play v Exeter tonight.

Apparently got a lift on the team coach en route to Exeter, but got dropped off at a hospital in Birmingham to have it checked out, perhaps even have a medical ..........

But maybe they don't if they're run by two cretins, who just offer 5hit loads of money after the horse has bolted, i.e. Diame (not saying he's a horse mind) and worryingly now Abel.

If the coach is driving to Exeter from Hull then we've got bigger problems than we thought.

Can't help feeling this Hernandez speculation is fueled by his agent. Pat Murphy of BBC in the Midlands says Villa not in for him, this feels like the agent trying to ramp up the anti for his new contract.

He does have a hernia/groin problem, as this was debated in the preseason, whether a few days rest can cure it, so I guess they are just being careful with his fitness.

    Relax Bum, Phelans not driving.

He's on the back seat with the lads, sharing porno mags and beers. He may even do a moony. Possibly pilfering stuff from Hilton Park services. Anything to break the monotomy of a long journey.

Fortunately there is an onboard toilet, so there will be no 'driver stop the coach near this bridge, I need a piss'.
