We were bang average in the final third but, they were never gonna create a goal - it's two points lost to zonal marking.

I think of that every time he steps up for one.

Burnley's 2nd point on the road this season. Ah well could of been worse. We still need a goal scorer.

For me we left it too long with Bob up front. He's just no use, I don't see him scoring at all, ever.
Maybe if we had another striker alongside him, but even then, this supposed great hold up play wasn't there. Neither were his knock downs either. Just a waste of a player today.
Burnley came with a point & that's what they wanted when they left. They did to us, what we were doing to the top sides in recent weeks.

Poor performance against a team that played horrible slowing down tactics.
Maloney did nothing that was asked of him.
Elmo & Omar combination didn't work.
We had no creativity in midfield.
No point playing well against the big clubs if we turn in performances like today.

Marco is a genius isn't he? Hope so...

Just saying... there are no miracles. We still need to look vaguely like we can score, we need no more injuries, and we need some luck.

I'm seriously not saying he is a bad manager, just we are a long way from the top ten side a lot seem to think we have miraculously transformed into.

Fingers crossed, but the next few games are must wins. Win, not draw.

It is the biggest worry right now. Where the goals are going to come from. Don't know if having Salibur instead of Elmo would have made any difference.

In the end a point was a fair result. We suffered from a lack of craft with Evandro and Markovic out.
We dropped a place, but we are now within one result of passing four teams and Palace who passed us still have the top six to play, so they'll struggle to pull away.

Grosicki and Hernandez should have tested the keeper in the second half.

Amazed by the feedback, must have watched different game.

I'm pissed at the result and the missed opportunities but seeing us dominate against Burnley for a change and looking like a much better team than them (we used to just try and play the same as them in the past) is a welcome relief. Means we aren't fluking anything.

Some sloppiness in the final third as always but other than that we weren't poor.

Mbokani is ****, you can't have a strong guy coming in deep with no one around him. Pointless. He either has to play with Niasse or be benched.

I liked our back 4 today. They all played well imo. Ndiaye and Huddlestone both going for same player for their goal.

People love Huddlestone but he's not my type of player. If the lad only offers passing, to me that's not enough. He's leagues away from a Carrick before anyone tries to compare.

Ndiaye, no idea what position is he meant to be. Maybe his shirt number is throwing me off but can't figure it out, he looks out of place in defence, up front and on the wings so I'm assuming he's a CM but he doesn't seem to spend much time there.

I've personally had enough of relying on Elmo. One decent ball all game.

Maloney gifted but went missing a little

Grosicki amazing pace, dumb decision making. Trying to make a name for himself. Although great effort that went close.

Team is solid though considering davies, daws, markovic and evandro missing. We have a good squad. We are definitely capable of staying up, looking at the table it'll be 3 out of 7 teams.

Maybe one of the 7 might pull away and make it 6 but at the moment it is honestly wide open.

Could see this coming and a point isn't the worst outcome but nevertheless, I haven't felt this gutted about a result in a long time.

We might have played better at Burnley, at least more solid, and we got a draw then too.

As I said earlier we missed Dawson in defence, particularly for that weak goal.

Disappointed, should have won that. Mbokani not good enough, Elmo/Elabdellaoui combo didn't work very well, but really we missed the craft of Evandro. Still, we usually get stuffed after a 2-week break so this is progress.

    Onwards and upwards!

The defence in the second half could be all over the place, Marco needs to drill some of them more with what he wants. You have to be awake all game.

Grosicki at least had some impact, he's better than Elmo at crossing, I think he will have at least a good game or two eventually.

Hernandez I've just lost patience with. Mbokani too probably.

For me, we need to be starting Hernandez from here on in. Only way I can see us scoring the goals we need.

The fella quite rightly comes in for plenty of stick, but he's our only player that gets into the positions to score.
