Butterfield's half decent as well and I reckon Bent would have got a bit of game time for us this season.
The only game I've watched them closely was away to forest! Forest never gave them any time on the ball and could have won by a lot more then they did!
He's got a good long shot on him has Butterfield, hopefully it's not going to bring out the ol' McGregor of the past.
Agree we were not on it overall @ Brizzle, however we could and should have won it with the chances created. However, just like against Middlesboro I am expecting another top performance. Hull City always play beter against the better teams. The game I fear coming up is the Bolton game for some reason.
Derby were like us earlier in the season, they had plenty of the ball, but didn't look like they knew when to do with it, particularly in the final third. Forest harried a bit and made a couple of decent breaks, but I really didn't think they were very good either.
Can you link me to one quote from any poster that has said that they don't like Huddlestone? No? Thought not.
Derby will come and play, not put bodies behind the ball, that should make for a good open game. Middlesbrough came to play and our better quality won us the game, I think the same will happen against derby.
I'm the one on here who gets called out on that because I was one of the first to say how we are worse when he plays and keep saying it but I actually think he's a lovely lad with loads of talent. We play better when he's not there though.
Derby are a good side no doubt about it, to be two points behind us and I think they had a poor start then they must be doing something right, yes their performance against Forrest wasn't the best but they have been on a great run like us lately. I still think we have the best squad in the league the question mark been how will the injuries and suspensions affect us on Friday hopefully not to much. Its a big game with them been near us in the league lets hope the team and the crowd are up for it and we get that vital win
You've never said you don't like him Bo, no one has, Thudd's a likeable lad. TesTickles has it wrong, again.
Bruce and Huddlestone doing the presser today, so Huddlestone will almost certainly be stating. Apart from Snodgrass making the bench, there's been nothing else of note.
Hasn't that fallacy been put to bed? Plenty of players have been involved in the presser and not played.
Maloney did it for MK Dons (didn't start), Akpom did it for Sheff Wednesday (didn't start), Robertson did it for Forest (didn't start), Hayden did it for Preston (didn't start). There's probably more but I can't be ****ed going the whole way back. It doesn't happen that often, but it's hardly rare.
