I know the 'table' showing where we'd be if the season had started puts us in fourth, but it's also interesting to think that if we'd got the ratio of points per game that we've got under him over the whole season we'd have 47 so would now be in 8th!

Andy Dawson at the match last night...left 2 mins after his brother came on!
He did have his nipper with him though.

 

Phelan was strung up like a kipper but he didn't do himself any favours.

I still think he could be a good manager, those last few games he managed us, despite not getting results due to silly individual defensive errors and atrocious refereeing, showed he can get a team playing.

 

Anyone that does fidgety Phelan-like pressers could never be a good manager, also he'll always be overawed by Man Utd when he plays against them with whichever team he manages, I could never imagine Marco being overawed by any team.

 

I certainly did not remember the scores I posted, looked them up on line, think it was a MIddlesborough site.

Nah, Clucas got that from Ian Wright's many close football friends, close to our club. I was in a fairly decent and extremely busy hotel in Cheshire and we certainly shut a few gobshites up, but Wright is unstoppable - the **** him!
