Yes, shame about the coach. Knew some people who went on it for decades. Was there during all the crap years, crap teams, crap owners, lock outs, when less than 4,000 Hull folk could be bothered turning up, there against Southend whilst others were at Wembley. Says it all about the current regime that after going through all of the above that it has taken their utter incompetence and vindictiveness to finally drive them away. Amazingly some defended and continue to defend Dr Allam and his offspring.
Yes. Some used to insist on referring to him by that title for a long time. But not Dr Barmby. They know who they are.
Yesterday will be forever marked as the day we saw a total capatulation within the KCOM. Spurs where everywere. Brazen, cocky and determined. They gave no respect, laughing when tackled and openly bragging about how we letting them mug us in numbers. I am not talking about the game. Its the supporters who sat in among us in our home stands and our stewards did nothing. Nowt, ziltch. The joker who got arrested after going on the pitch is a prime example. He sat with his group of mates and took the piss, when challenged. Home supporters who complained met with a shrug of the shoulders. Orange coated stewards did **** all. Supporters and I include myself did **** all. Can supporters do any more? The risk is to do something and get chucked out with a ban. Complaints get you nowwhere.
The club employ stewards have no knowledge of or interest in football. They are blind to all this and seem baffled when it gets pointed out to them. Or some choose to turn a blind eye because it's too much hassle. Then again our club has chosen to use a ticketing system open to abuse, where anyone can get tickets easily. As our fanbase gets eroded, the more places are available to away fans. Word will certainly be getting round how easy it is to get tickets for away fans. Vermin, Sheffields, SAFC, Boro etc will all be taking the piss again next season in the wide open seat areas in the home stands next season.
It's not complicated is it They can manage to apply the rule about not taking your beer to your seat, so why can't they apply the 'no away fans in the home end' rule?
Totally agree. Whoever the manager is can build to his style and tactics - we've had too many problems with square pegs and round holes.
The Jak told my mate at work that he and his family are very settled and happy here and that, in his words, "family is more important than football".
