Judge for yourselves. The Hector trot, the Dawson knee high header miss and the Aina statue impersonation.
I really don't think you can blame Aina for the second the damage was done out wide. Hector should have put him in touch. When a players pulling it back from the bye line the defence are in trouble. It was a great ball and hard to defend against. Good goal
Probably posted already, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't be bothered to scroll through pages and pages of endless drivel.
Their first is a wonder goal, can't criticise anyone for that, to see some slating MH is ridiculous and ****ing petty, just looking for a new boo boy. Watching their second again, 2 players could've done more, can't help but think that Hector should've taken a yellow and taken their winger out before he got his cross in, think a more experienced defender would have done this. Also think whilst he could have done more, it's a bit harsh to blame Aina as it was a horrible ball to defend from a full backs perspective, one of those where if you go to get something on it, but get too much on it, you can smash it into your own goal, again, maybe with a bit more experience he'd do it differently, but certainly not the aberration some on here are making it out to be.
As you said not Clark's total fault. Just on Campbell's attempt, a bit unlucky, the ball just got stuck under his feet and couldn't get the right contact on it.
No sound at work but I'm pretty certain it'll be "TWAT - that was liquid football" and/or "he must have a foot like a traction engine".
Looked like a decent shot. To the keeper's side and headed for the corner, but a hell of a save at that distance.
Yes, it was still a good save, but I think if the ball had sat better for him he could have steered it wider of the keeper, nevertheless a good attempt and save. He's a big lad their keeper.
Forgot about him. Not his fault he's ineffective when he's being played in the wrong position. He's an attacking central midfielder - not a midfielder sitting in front of defence. Our game improved 10 fold with the introduction of Meyler.
Was just talking specifically about some of the criticism of him not charging down the strike for the 2nd goal rather than his overall performance
