This is not a match thread, just a bit of info. A 12 year old girl by the name of Megan Pratt has been in intensive care in a Hull Hospital suffering from cancer. Yesterday she went through a 14 hour operation in an effort to rid her of a cancerous tumour which is threatening her life. At the 12th minute mark of the game the Hull City fans and the Sheffield Wednesday fans will sing a short tribute song in an effort to boost her spirits. Just in case some of you are watching the game and wondering what was going on, that`s the reason. A very nice gesture. Horrible when kids are dealt a **** hand like that. Good luck to the bairn.
It's terrible when anybody is 'dealt a **** hand like that' We can only hope that she beats it . . . . this is a lovely gesture, from both sets of fans I still want Sheff. Wed. to win, though
Not necessarily anybody! Wouldnt be unfortunate if Huntley was slowly killed by some painful thing. It's terrible when most that are dealt this hand!
Sorry to here that news - let's all hope 12th minute is part of a memorable occaision with successful outcomes for Megan & The Owls
As much as I want Wednesday to win they look like they'd get battered in the prem, the defence is really struggling and it's only Hull they're playing.
Horrible performance from Wednesday, they could have played until this time tomorrow and they wouldn't have scored.
Probably speaks volumes about the quality of their fan base, which has been suspect for a long time in my opinion.
