Don´t be surprised if we should lose today We´re past masters at such a thing, Two or three decent results pave the way For a clip in the Canaries´ wing We´d be forlorn... But Rotherham would love it, with caretaker Warne If we should fall flat on our beak, Not a great player, but still Norwich born It would represent quite a peak Naming no name... But surely even we, of underwhelming fame Will not do ourselves that much harm, For lose here today in this unglamorous game And the natives will be far from calm Even with no debt... I´m not so sure that I´m willing to bet A win is a foregone outcome, We´ve had weekends like this, we´d rather forget Too many times, not to succumb Keep an even keel.. And for peace of mind, not least for A. Neil A win would be high on his list, And can we combine some skill with some steel Three points here ought not to be missed. But we are Norwich City, don´t forget, so anything is always possible.
As always nail on the head sir, if we want to be in the mix come May, these are the games we ought to be winning, but hey-ho, we are Norwich so who knows?
Yep, I´m afraid there is always that proviso Dave, and it really wouldn´t surprise me at all, if we lost today, then beat Saints on Wednesday, instead of the more logical reverse.
I know you´re feeling sick Donuts, and I appreciate your input ( when you´re civil ), but I always feared for this one, especially with the Cup game coming up. Would tend to agree with you though, Saints look a big ask now, and just what the hell is happening with all these red cards? We find it hard enough with 11, so losing one is not exactly the best policy.
I love it when Duncan puts in a little cameo appearance. I'd hate him to think it wasn't appreciated!
New Year resolution and all that, gandy - I´d actually been expecting him to be swearing and cursing his head off, especially on my threads, so it makes a pleasant change.
RBF makes a bold prediction that we would lose to the worst side in the league then beat Southampton away in the FA cup. I replied that he got the first part right but I don't believe we will win against Southampton. Weird response to just have a pop at me about swearing and cursing and taking the moral high ground due to your new years resolution.
Well firstly Dunc, I didn´t make a prediction stating that we would lose to Rotherham, and then subsequently, we would beat Southampton. I said it wouldn´t surprise me if we did, that´s not at all the same thing. Secondly, I´m assuming you are the same Donuts who has been known to swear and curse in the aftermath of NCFC matches, particularly when three points are not forthcoming. You´ve also been known to explete and show distaste at my literary work, so I was, for once, showing my surprise, pleasure and gratitude that that wasn´t the case again here. Certainly wasn´t taking any sort of moral high ground.
Excellent and I would be absolutely delighted to be proven wrong by beating Southampton away setting up a tie with Arsenal.
Are you positive? Did the nurse double up on your medicine dose?? If our strongest team can't beat the mighty Rotherham, what chance for a second string eleven against the Gooners? I think you need your temperature taken! please log in to view this image
Rick gave me some of his happy tablets. After destroying Southampton we will humiliate Arsenal and go on to lift the FA cup for sure.
I wouldn't be surprised if we make it 3 in a row losing to basement side Rotherham, Southampton and Wolves at the weekend. Then Birmingham the week after.
Isn't that 4? Wolves seem to be improving under Lambert, but our home form has remained decent, it could go either way so I'm plumping for a draw. Not good enough for us, it seems like every week where we have to say that if we are going to maintain our slim hopes of making the playoffs then 3points is the minimum required of this a home game. But maybe slim has left the building? Bah!
