I attended the FFSC meeting in the Sporttsman on Nevil Road, Have you ever wondered how apart from buying your season or match day ticket you can support Bristol Rovers. When I left the meeting I know longer wondered about that as the FFSC tries to do the following Sponsor young players Tom Lockyer for the last 3 years Sponsor league matches Last season we had sufficient support to join the 1883 club and tried to be the club shirt sponsors Members have the opportunity to win a players shirt or hospitality seat. I am like you are proud to be a Gashead are you like me proud to be a FFSC member
FFS is great and has helped the club and players and have been a major way of bringing us all together. Im Proud of being apart of that. Also that I will get Lines shirt too, somehow.
Thanks old timer as organiser i'll let others say why they join and what they think the benefits are - i would also like to know if we can help persuade a few new members to join because only by growing can we sponsor more players more matches and raise more money for Rovers - Please feel free to ask any questions everyone - oh and please consider joining us
Welcome Chris - by the end of next season you will hopefully Sponsor at least 6 players two first team games and be a member of The 1883 Club - not bad for £10 eh you FFS Legend you!
We pay now can we? Also being a FFS member and the FFS is a member of the 1883 club, so does that make us 1883 club members? For example, if we get say Arsenal in a cup game and tickets go on sale to group 1 members 1st which includes the 1883 club members, can we therefore say we are 1883 club members or is it just the main guy (yourself) who would qualify as the 1883 club member?
People have begun paying for next season although we officially launch in a few weeks - Yes we are 1883 Clubbers but unfortunately we won't get to use it for ticket purchases and i certainly won't be taking advantage of it as organiser i always stated i personally will not gain from the FFS
Thats what I meant, do we all qualify for the benefits of the 1883 club or just the organiser. I presumed just yourself JTS but thought i'll ask because that would be even better if we all qualified It wouldnt personnally bother me if you used 'took' advantage of 1883 club membership. I think as founder/organsier of FFS you should take advantage Cant remember how to pay. I know its paypal but I can remember who to.
