Mansfield were pretty dreadful in the couple of games before they beat us at the end of last season. Then they arrived at the Mem and produced an admirably professional performance. So there is hope that Gateshead will make it tough for Barnet!
Maybe, but Gateshead have massive injury problems to worry about as well, meaning it will be a reserve side, and some kids playing. They may be eager to show what they got, but at the same time, those kids/reserves have been taking a beating the last couple of weeks...doesn't sound great for us
Heard rumors their manager might be leaving if its true lets hope that the new man makes himself known before the game even if he is not in charge as it just might give Gateshead the impetus to play well and impress the new man
More than a rumour.... 1st post on page 11... http://www.not606.com/threads/remaining-games-matches-thread-and-poll.296653/page-11#post-7847379
If he keeps his head down keeps working his socks off then there is potential there but unless we play Barnets tactics and make him our pen taker then I think 30 may be too ambitious
If Harrison starts more matches then I firmly believe CJS that between 20/30 goals in a season is not beyond his capabilities
Gateshead reserves have had some great results recently and the first team has only actually lost two of their last six away games. Also Barnet have lost two of their last six home games. Gateshead just need to get a draw and that will probably do.
excuse the invasion, but best of luck in winning your game. come on Gateshead, wake up Irene .up the Gas
The figure on the internet is around the £600,000 mark for a team going up out of this league. With the play off games being a success for the gas I would think this would bring in some serious money via tv rights, tickets sales etc etc It's the hard way but the riches it brings can only be good...... Well in Mr Higgs eyes
Let's hope we do or the academy are going to be hit hard Only 50% funding in the new season Then down to zero the season after unless we are promoted. We have some talent just waiting for that big break That's if we can keep them
it is essential you have well practised penalty takers. town went to the conference in 2003 for 1 season. we got back to league because of penalties in the play off finals, the gas may well out play their rivals, but forget the prospect of penalties at your peril. best of luck.
If we don't make it through the playoffs as long as he keeps the same squad with 1 or 2 additions then I think we will be well clear at the top of the table after the last match is played what happened to the young winger he signed, did he kick a ball in anger for us and if he didn't how will he know whether he is what we need
a few appearances on the bench but never got on the pitch. he is still with us until the play offs is over. like lines
