im happy that coventry have re invented themselves

Good skills but as I said I am in ways the biggest hypocrite as at weekends I go looking for the England I love
and stayed this weekend at Tylney Hall ... Expensive but because I have saved elsewhere in life I think sod it
But I struggle will it all and at times I am ashamed ... Just as sick in many ways hence my own personal desire to step away when I can

Only went to Highfield Road once, cup tie in 73 (?) we drew 0-0 and got them back for a replay at HQ a few days later, none of this 10 days time lapse between games because the police can't cope.......Stanley won the game with the last kick, free kick around the wall, bottom corner.....pure magic...

Liked Highfield Road as a ground it was quite smart compared to HQ, Jimmy Hill did a huge amount of good work for them in those days......

 

yes jimmy hill was a fine manager taking coventry from the third to the prem he was trully gifted in that way
