I didn't see any more checks than what usually take place on a match day either. If anything it was more lapse.
Cheers 9's, I was curious about this. If I had been at HQ today and seen snipers on the roof of the Loft then would be a tad concerned. Tbh, like most I would not begrudge the slight inconvenience of delays and extra security checks for our safety with the sh!t that's going down right now
I arrived at Waterloo 12ish expecting to see old bill everywhere. No police, only thousands of people happily going about their business, shopping, sightseeing, watching the r's. Side note; that Underground is seriously becoming over-crowded
At Marylebome there was a policeman with something gun-like in a holster. There was a policeman at Shepherds Bush Market And there was no women searchers on the Upper Loft entrance, and the man opened the book in my bag (to see if it contained a bomb?)...I felt very safe!
Was it yellow Beth? A taser perhaps? It is a little worrying that the security checks were so poor by all accounts.
