I was talking to two guys - walkers - in the village today. Mbokani is known as 'Sicknote' among the Canary fans...
They seemed rather keen to get him on loan for another season back in the summer... http://services.pinkun.com/forums/pinkun-forums/cs/forums/1/3406317/ShowPost.aspx
He played 29 of Norwich's 38 Premier League games, so he self evidently didn't feign injury very often, they only had three players who played more times.
This is our second season in a row in the Premiership when we have led the division in the number of injuries to first team players. Our last season in the top tier under Bruce was remarkable for the number of injuries, particularly in the second half of the season after being well positioned at Christmas. That it's happened again this season is unfortunate to say the least. Lets hope the end result is different this time.
Do you swear blind, Ern? OK - I didn't look at the stats as you did, obv. - but I was merely repeating what I was told by 2 Narch fans.
Alas the injuries we are suffering are pretty poor but it boils down to poor recruitment during the summer transfer window .. those that were brought in added very little .. the moment we got injuries we were basically shafted due to the lack of quality .. I wonder if MS had been at the helm then if our recruitment would have been better .. seems he has more about him to bend Ehaw's elbow
Of course he can pick better players, because he's got them. If Phelan had Grosicki, N'Diaye, Markovic, Evandro and Niasse he would have picked them too.
