How many games has Daniel Sturridge played this season?. Anyone?.

 

21 games, not all full games.

scored 2 goals in 14 legaue games. a lot as sub.

scored 4 goals in league cup.

btw he's played as many as he did last year... and 2 more than the year before.

his record actually reads like his one good year was a compelte and utter fluke that he managed 29 league games in 2013/14

 

Now he's one I'd sell in a heart beat..I font even think he has that can turn it round in a heart beat left in him that was the only reason justifying keeping the sick note.

 

Better to look at minutes played as opposed no of games

 

Mane looks like he'll be out for quite a number of weeks according to goal.com. Our season has flipped from maybe 2nd if we're lucky to 5th as a most likely outcome. The Wenger trophy taken from our grasp. Everton was a pyrrhic victory if it means no Mane for the rest of the season. I would have taken a loss and Mane guaranteed healthy for rest of season over a win and him out for half the remaining games.

 

It is left for the remaining players to step up and show that Liverpool is no one man team With due respect to Sadio Mane.

 

Have to admit that its a hard one to swallow if true but we should be bigger than one man.

 

True, but we have a very thin and average squad with a couple star players. If Mané is out for a while i cant see us getting top 4 at all

Did we really get an offer of £20m for Ings? ..

 

We are unlucky on Ings front he has bee on long time injury twice with Liverpool,

 

it'd be a massive blow for sure but Utd and Arsenal have no easy task.

When Mane was away last time, Couthino was coming back from a major injury and didn't perform. Hopefully his form has recovered somewhat because without mane and Lallana, we'll need him!!

Have to say that the decision to not add to the squad in January will look like a huge error if we fail to finish top four. Sometimes you just have to pay over the odds.

 

Should still have enough for 3rd or 4th i reckon.

Utd have the Europa to worry about soon and injuries of their own as well.

Arsenal look shot at the moment and koscelny may be out for a long time. Add the tougher run in and 3 more gsmes than liverpool to play before end of season.

Even if mane is out for the rest of the year id expect to get over the line.

 

I heard the Sturridge injury was a broken fingernail, out for the rest of the season.

 

United have a horrific set of fixtures so not too concerned with them.

 

2 week so wouldn't be too terrible.

 

Poor guy. Shows real promise too. Still £20 mill we should sell. No matter how good, if he's injured a lot only a matter of time until he has that Owen/Torres type injury that makes him absolutely useless afterwards.

Plus I'd rather have squad members we can use.

Dunno which muggins would pay you guys 20 million for a crock. I'd be surprised if you get that for Sturridge who is proven but doesn't play than Ings who is not proven and doesn't play
