You can suspect that, but it didn't in January nor would it all in August. Some going to Allamhouse would be incredibly welcome though as it reduces our debt.
If those players are sold, then it probably means we are relegated. I can't see the Allams not taking back as much money as they can from Parachute payments and selling revenues to reduce the loans they have with the club.
The wage bill will be a lot less if we are relegated and sell a lot of the players. Reducing the loan generally is a good thing, but not at the expense of the strength of the team. If they do this, then I can see City languishing as a mid table Championship team or even worse.
I part get your point, I'm involved in football locally now with the U7s my lad plays for. To me it's important to try and maintain PL status and build a decent infrastructure through a well run academy. Many of my lads friends now want to play for Hull City - part of that is they see City as a good side as they play in the PL. Playing in the PL and seeing home grown players play in the best league is massive - like Tymon. Kids wanting to be the next Maguire or Huddlestone rather than Rooney or Ibrahimovic. That's what made me decide actually, I'd rather be in the 'big league' than not. You see the influence it has over local aspirations.
Being in the PL regardless is important. Revenue and exposure on TV. Where do you think clubs in the Championship would rather be? In the top 6 in the Championship or 17th in the PL? I'd hazard a guess they would all take 17th in the PL every day of the week.
Me too, I just fear that they won't sell because they seem to have a over inflated perception of the clubs value, they could have sold on at least 2 occasions, but held out and tried to screw more out of the possible buyers.
We are a nation of losers. ...Settle for mediocrity and a pleasantly comfortable non existence It's the big league for me. Being in it means you are winners.
There's way more money in the top tier, the problem is the Allams take a lot of it. And they haven't bothered much with the infrastructure of the club.
Hernandez doesn't get back from international duty until Friday, so it's unlikely he'll start against West Ham. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/how-...-the-weekend/story-30230349-detail/story.html
