Does anyone remember when American Football used to be on Channel 4.... Washington Redskins Quarterback think his name was Joe Theisman fractured a leg, as it was an American broadcast they kept showing it, slowing the film down, zooming in.... it wasn't pretty either...
i remember where i was working when i saw the photos in the paper, but i did look it up. david busst went into coaching and did eventually play non-league for a short time. he works for coventry city.
Errr...the fact that he played for Boro and went on to manage them might not be an influencing factor? Maybe not but with all of Boro's defensive strengths this season Harry has still got a lot more positive coverage and stats than Gibson. I personally think that possibly the FA do not want to reward in any which way the Allam's, and therefore City players are collateral damage.
Steve Bruce was the unluckiest player never to play for England they say. I reckon the FA had a suspicion he'd be Hull City manager one day...
Of course I thought it was influencing factor, but it doesn't make Boro a fashionable club. Southgate has picked two Burnley players, one Sunderland player and now a Boro player, the claim that players aren't picked because they play for Hull City is paranoid nonsense.
Most definitely. I think we'll lose most of the squad regardless of what league we're in next season. I can see Maguire, Robertson, Hernandez, Elmo, Huddlestone all going. Maybe Marshall who hasn't really cut the mustard. Then lose the loan players. It will require a total rebuild. I hope we keep Silva - regardless of the league we're in.
I agree, also of cause the loan signing will go back, which will leave us again very short. Can see some of the U23's stepping up to the first team.
