Victor due to play against Guinea Bissau today at 4pm in a 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier. Wonder if he's there yet?
Here's the full list. 17 in total. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20160322-international-matches-southampton-march-3020999.aspx
Training video posted yesterday....still a few first team players here. I can remember recently when they couldn't raise a 4 for bridge in an international break. Time for these lads to step up.
Listened closely and heard that he was glad to be there.....yep, that was it. He always talks like he is half asleep, so only going to be worse when he is half asleep.
Give it a day or so and we will have storys about players giving interviews saying the sort of stuff to get us all panicking.always seems to happen when players are with national teams
Players should be told to limit their comments to the weather. The average Saints fan has a tenuous grip on reality at the best of times, especially when members of the press start jumping up and down on their fingers.
Most fingers crossed for a nice gentle game next Tuesday! Ryan Bertrand, Fraser Forster, Jordy Clasie and Virgil van Dijk England vs Holland International friendly Kick-off: 8pm BST
Kenya lost 1-0 but it's sounds like Victor got through that one unscathed. Busy day tomorrow Cuco Martina - Barbados vs Curacao 2016 Caribbean Cup Kick-off: 12am GMT. Maya Yoshida - Japan vs Afghanistan 2018 FIFA World Cup/2019 Asian Cup qualifier Kick-off: 10.30am GMT Steven Davis and Lloyd Isgrove - Wales vs Northern Ireland International friendly Kick-off: 7.45pm GMT Graziano Pellè - Italy vs Spain International friendly Kick-off: 7.45pm GMT
Yes, and they won their group but really a lot of their players are lower half PL or Championship standard. Davis sticks out like a sore thumb.
Still no need to down grade his efforts. They have done superbly well, & even though they are not all house hold names, they are a good team. He has been the POTY, but to say that's not difficult is disrespectful.
